This is a cargo bag is junk!! The first time I installed it the plastic hold down strap broke. We used it on a trip and all of our clothes got wet on the way there and we spent two days drying them. Skip this and spend more money…..I would return it is Amazon lets me.

We needed some extra storage for camping, after trading in our F-150 for a smaller SUV. This bad can fit A TON! We easily stuffed two sleeping bags, two blankets, two pillows, a duffel bag of clothes, some shoes, two bike helmets and some others various smaller items. The straps are kind of annoying and hard to clamp down because the buckle is so big. The straps do flap everywhere, so be sure to tie them down. We also found that the bag would shift, as it didn’t fit *exactly* to our roof rack (factory installed Escape). So we used one bungee cord to attach, then no problems. One the way home, we hit some rain. There was a small puddle in the front of the bag–probably just from the force of the wind on the front of the bag as we drove. Okay if just add a little plastic to the front. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Well worth the low price.

Bought this primarily to store a full-size spare tire rather than carry it inside my Honda Odessey Van. For that purpose, it was perfect! This is a 1st Class product and if you follow the simple installation instructions, you will have positive results. Every seam is reinforced, every zipper covered in velco, straps are also reinforced. Travelled a total of 1500 uneventful miles with it. On glitch was there was a slight noise caused by not having the entire space filled, so I used a tiedown strap with a racket on to solve that. Only caution: THIS IS NOT WATERPROOF. For me carrying a spare tire, it didn’t matter. But if you looking for something waterproof, this is NOT it. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this product, it folded up nice and neat in its own storage bag ready for our next trip. Based on other bags I saw that fell apart, this one won’t! Its well worth the money!

It is easy to attach to our SUV, holds a lot of luggage and, if secured right, does not slip around – you don’t even know its there. This is a great product I would buy again.

I’ve used this once so far for a weekend camping trip. It performed very well in dry weather. I haven’t tried it out in the rain yet, I will this winter. It holds a lot more than you think. Very easy to access. Very quiet in travel. I drove with the sunroof open and couldn’t hear it flapping in the wind. It is very durable too.
